Baron Foods has moved closer to its goal of exporting its world class products to Cuba.
The CEO of the company, Ronald Ramjattan, is currently in Cuba attending the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2015.
Accompanied by Chef Didier Le Berre, the Baron Foods CEO will be making a presentation of the use of his firm’s wide range of herbs, spices, condiments and other products in various cuisines to new customer – TRD Caribe.
Mr. Ramjattan, who is also the President of the Saint Lucia Manufacturers Association, has said that his company is creating an export path to Cuba where other Saint Lucian companies can follow.
Baron Foods Limited already has plants located in three Caribbean countries, manufactures over 150 products and has a network of distributors in the Caribbean, Europe, Canada, the United States and Asia.
FIHAV is the largest annual multi-sector trade fair in Havana, taking place from November 2-7, 2015.
Last year’s 32nd anniversary of the event welcomed over 1,000 companies from 46 countries.
